Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm Endowment Fund This agency fund was created to provide annual support to Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm. Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm employs horses in a working farm environment to provide beneficial therapy for people with a wide range of physical, emotional and cognitive disabilities. The two primary programs are Challenge Unlimited and Ironstone Therapy - both using the horse's unique ability to enhance a person's movements and touch a person's heart, inspiring strength, hope and encouragement.
Coalition for a Better Acre Endowment Fund The purpose of the fund is to provide annual support to the Coalition for a Better Acre to further the Agency’s mission. The Coalition for a Better Acre is a membership based community development corporation dedicated to resident empowerment and sustainable community revitalization for current and future residents of Lowell. Cultural Organization of Lowell Endowment Fund Established in 2006 to provide unrestricted funds to advance the charitable purposes of the Cultural Organization of Lowell.
Girls Incorporated of Greater Lowell Endowment Fund This fund supports Girls Incorporated of Greater Lowell. Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Creative programs instill the independence and personal responsibility girls need to succeed in a changing world. The organization began when young women formed the War Community Service in 1917. In 1945, this organization became a charter member of Girls Clubs of America, Inc. and in 1992, the Lowell affiliate officially became Girls Incorporated of Greater Lowell.
House of Hope Endowment Fund The Fund provides annual support to House of Hope, Inc. The House of Hope has provided emergency shelter and services to hundreds of homeless families in Lowell. They build courage, strength, and independence in their residents as they grapple with complicated socio-economic and health issues while providing loving care for their children.
International Institute of Lowell / Anton Antonopoulos Fund This fund was named to honor the lives of Alexander C. Anton and Charles J. Antonopoulos for their life-long efforts to improve the quality of life of immigrants and other new citizens of the United States. The Board of Directors of the International Institute of Lowell established the permanent endowment fund to support the work of the International Institute of Lowell, Inc. to assist individuals in the Greater Lowell area, and the neighboring towns.

Lowell Association for the Blind Endowment Fund Lowell Association for the Blind is a non-profit, community based organization whose mission is to support, educate and nurture the blind and visually impaired of the Greater Merrimack Valley by assisting them in the enrichment of their lives and helping them to gain maximum independence. Hydro Gateway Project This Fund is a component fund of the Foundation to provide support for the Hydro Gateway to Hamilton Canal district in Lowell.
John F. and Wanda K. Gregory Theater Fund The purpose of the Fund is to support Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Inc. so long as it is recognized as exempt from federal income tax as a ccomponent of a state, federal, regional, municipal, or other government entity or is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. If Merrimack Repertory Tjheatre, Inc. ceases to exist, or moves out of Lowell, MA, the the funds will be redirected to a Theater Program at UMass Lowell, Middlesex Community College, or Lowell High School.
Kathryn Stoklosa Knowledge Bowl Fund The fund was established to support the operations of the Kathryn Stoklosa Knowledge Bowl, an academic competition among middle school students to advance educational excellence, scholarship and community service.

Leo and Matthew Flynn Memorial Scholarship Fund This fund provides two scholarships. One scholarship is awarded to a LHS student with financial need and at least a B average who have demonstrated leadership in community/civic activities and participated in extracurricular activities, including either varsity or junior varsity sports. The second scholarship is awarded at Bishop Guertin High School, to help cover the cost of tuition for a student from Lowell, if no Lowell resident meets the criteria for financial aid, then the tuition scholarship(s) shall be awarded to a student residing in the immediate Greater Lowell area.

1826 Lowell High Scholarship Fund This fund provides a minimum of two and no more than four scholarship awards to Lowell High School (LHS) graduating seniors who have taken a minimum of two Business Education courses at LHS. Preference is given to students who participated in DECA, Business Professionals of America, or worked in the School Store. Students must be attending a two- or four- year institution or technical school.
Adam Keenan Memorial Scholarship Fund Adam Keenan was an avid athlete and played ball throughout his life. He made many friends playing for the Shedd Park League in Lowell, the Post 87 American Legion League, at Lowell High School, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Franklin Pierce University, and the Seacoast Mavericks. In 2011, Adam died unexpectedly during summer baseball practice. His family and friends later learned that Adam had a little-known form of heart disease called Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC), which often has no symptoms in its early stages. Increased exercise can worsen its effects, thereby impacting athletes. As a result of this sudden and tragic loss, Adam’s family and friends rallied to create a memorial scholarship fund for Lowell High School students in Adam’s name. Their efforts were met with incredible support. Adam’s family also participates in the Heart Walk each year to bring awareness to ARVC and raise funds and awareness. Adam’s friends and family presented the Adam Keenan Memorial Scholarship to a student who exceled in sportsmanship, academics, and commitment to athletics. Through this scholarship, Adam’s passion for athletics lives on.

A. Melvin (Mel) Glazer Scholarship Fund This scholarship is awarded to a graduating Lowell High School honor student who plans to pursue study in Business at an accredited academic institution. The student must participate in community service and be of strong character.
Amsi Morales Scholarship Fund Created by Amsi '98 while still an undergraduate college student, this Lowell High School scholarship is awarded to students of Hispanic heritage who worked during the school year or have a record of community service and who wishes to pursue the study of business at a two or four year college.
Amy E. Lekites Memorial Scholarship Fund Established in 2006 to memorialize and celebrate the life of Amy E. Lekites '85 who excelled as an athlete in girls track while at Lowell High. The scholarship is awarded to female graduates who participated in girls track or cross-country who have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to the sport and the team.
Anna Lekas Kuenzler Scholarship Fund The fund honors the life of Anna Lekas Kuenzler, a Lowell High School graduate in 1950, who was a simple, caring woman with extraordinary values which she passed on to her children. The Fund provides scholarship awards to graduating seniors from Lowell High School with economic need that plan to pursue an education at a two or four year academic institution.
Ann Burns Murphy Scholarship Fund Created by her daughter, Joanne, to memorialize her mother's life. This scholarship will be awarded to students interested in studying business at a two or four year institution.

Caring for Lowell Scholarship Fund The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship awards for Medical Assistants, or other employees, working at Lowell Community Health Center who have been employed at the health center for at least one year who intend to pursue a nursing degree on a full-time basis through Middlesex Community College.
Carney Medal Fund Established in 2007 to award each of the six Carney Medalists a scholarship in addition to the prestigious medal. The Carney Medal is given to the highest ranking three men and three women in the LHS graduation class. The tradition dates back to 1859, when James C. Carney of the Lowell Institution for Savings first financed the medals.

Katina Pappas Tsongas Scholarship Fund Created by the late U.S. Senator and 1992 Democratic Presidential Candidate, Paul Tsongas, a graduate of Lowell High School in 1958, this fund honors his mother, who died in his childhood. The LHS scholarship is open to female residents of Lowell, MA only and will be awarded to the winner of an essay contest on women's issues.

The Fund provides three scholarship awards for study at an accredited, degree-granting school, college or university to deserving females who are involved in the game of golf, or any female who is involved in high school athletics.
Kenneth Russell Fox Scholarship Fund Kenneth Fox was born in Lowell in 1916. He graduated from Lowell High School in 1938 and then attended Lowell College. This fund was established in 2010 in memory of Kenneth Russell Fox. This scholarship is awarded to a male Lowell High School graduating senior with economic needs who is planning to attend a post-secondary educational institution and who has demonstrated a commitment to academic achievement as well as leadership qualities at Lowell High School and/or the community at large.

Farley Memorial Scholarship Fund The purpose of the Fund is to award a scholarship to one or more deserving students annually graduating from Lowell High School who wishes to pursue study at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Candidates must have above average grades, and must have participated in sports, community involvement and have held, or hold, a part time job during high school.
LHS Class of 1956 Scholarship Fund Established by the class of 1956 in honor of their 50th reunion, this Lowell High School scholarship fund is open to all graduating seniors.
LHS Class of 1957 Scholarship Fund Established by the class of 1957, this Lowell High School scholarship will be awarded to a graduate with academic merit, economic need, and/or community service.
LHS Class of 1960 Scholarship Fund Established by the class of 1960 in 2003 in celebration of all their 60th birthdays. Awarded to the 60th ranking student. Provided that the student is attending a two or four year accredited school. Student must have a good attendance record .If the 60th ranking student is not attending college, this award will be presented to the closest ranking student going down in rank, i.e. 61, 62, 63 etc. The 60th ranking student is significant with the year of our class graduation and typically this student ties very hard and goes unrecognized.

McGrath Burnham, a LHS class of 1930 graduate. The Fund will provide scholarship awards to graduating seniors from Lowell High School who plans to attend a four year institution and pursue a R.N. degree in Nursing.
New England Strength & Performance Scholarship Fund This scholarship was created to provide annual scholarships to high school seniors that train for a minimum of 6 (Six) months at New England Strength & Performances, and will be attending a college or university where they will continue in any sport. The recipient will be selected based on academic merit, athletic commitment, exceptional character and sportsmanship. Plomaritis Family "Seven Tenets" Scholarship Fund The fund provides scholarship awards to Lowell High School (LHS) graduating seniors who have displayed a high degree of SPORTSMANSHIP while participating in at least one varsity sport at LHS, and performed volunteer work in the community.
Portuguese-American Scholarship Fund The fund provides one or more scholarship awards to Lowell High School graduates to pursue study at two-year or four-year college, with preference to students of Portuguese descent, defined as having direct relatives that have come from the Portuguese mainland or its two island areas, Madeira and the Azores.

Rev. Dr. Peter G. Rizos Scholarship Fund As a teacher at Lowell High School for more than three decades, Rev. Rizos encouraged learning and championed the needs of a diverse group of students who fondly referred to him as “Doc Rizos.” This fund was established by Rev. Rizos’ children to celebrate and honor his accomplishments. The fund awards scholarship to the highest-ranking senior of Greek descent at Lowell High School.

Robert Isaac Mizner Memorial Scholarship Fund Established by his family in 2004, this scholarship memorializes the life of Robert Mizner, Lowell High School Valedictorian in 1974, and honors his love of learning, particularly in mathematics and teaching, by awarding scholarships to graduates of the Latin Lyceum who wish to pursue college study in the fields of mathematics and education.

Rodger F. Martin Jr. Scholarship Fund Established to award scholarships to graduating Lowell High School students who intend to pursue a college degree in engineering or business, and who also participated in track and field as a pole vaulter or hurdler.

Stephen Tousignant Music Memorial Scholarship Fund The fund was created to memorialize the life of Stephen Tousignant. The Fund provides scholarship awards to graduating instrumental (preferably woodwind) students from Lowell High School planning to major in music or music education in college.
Sullivan Middle School PTO Scholarship Fund The fund provides one or more scholarship awards to Lowell High School graduates who have also graduated from the Sullivan Middle School in Lowell. Recipients must demonstrate financial need, good academic record, character, community service, and participation in school activities.
Supt. Henry J. and Theresa R. Mroz Scholarship Fund The purpose of the Fund is to provide a scholarship for each year in which the student pursues an undergraduate degree (but not greater than four years) before an award is provided to another student. The student must have achieved grades that qualify him or her among the top 25% of the graduating class, and have demonstrated an active commitment to community service through volunteerism with one or more community organizations or civic initiatives, or been active in school based community outreach efforts.
